Introduction:
Ecologically
life on earth is originated with millions of reactions among the Air, Water and
Soil in presence of electromagnetic radiations of the Sun.
Therefore,
in the biosphere Air, Water and Soil are treated as the structural component
for the formation of human body. If the basic properties of Air, Water and Soil
are changed it will certainly lead to a change in the structural, functional
& developmental behavior of human beings. Therefore, human behavior and their working efficiency may be
controlled by the proper management of Air, Water and Soil related components of
the human body.
All
over the world, children are regarded as the future of the nation. Based on 45 years of experiences in the field of
environment and ecological researches the author is of the opinion that environmental
education and Eco-skills training of the children shall make a solid foundation
for the nation building.
Eco-Skills Training:
Eco-skills
are the ecological tools for managing children’s health, boosting their brain,
improving Emotional Quotient (EQ) and
Intelligence Quotient (IQ). This will improve the overall personality of the
children. Present Eco-skills training program will be based on the management of
Air, Water and Soil related components of the body and radiant energy of
the Sun.
Oxygenation of the body:
Air
is an important component of our ecosystem and its Oxygen plays a vital role in
the human body. Oxygen is the source of body energy which helps in burning the
carbohydrates for releasing energy in the body by the process of respiration. In
order to enhance oxygen level in the body, a number of breathing exercises
under green plants canopy will be conducted.
Body water management:
In
order to manage water component of the ecosystem, body water content must be
managed properly. Human body consists with the 75-80% water. Therefore,
quantity of water in the body shall be
maintained as per directives of WHO with
the help of ecological techniques.
Nutritional Management:
Plants
are the major source of food and nutritional substances. They grow in the soil.
Henceforth, all soil contaminants are absorbed and accumulated in different
plant parts i.e. roots, flower, fruits, grains etc. When these substances are
eaten by the children, their body is adversely affected. Therefore, proper
management of these substances in body of children will be done.
Energy Activation :
Sun
is the principal source of energy on earth. The human body is always influenced
by different kinds of electromagnetic radiation/cosmic energy. During eco-skills
training program children will be introduced to different kinds of practices to
absorb positive energy from the ecosystem and release their negative body energy.
ENHANCEMENT
OF EMOTIONAL QUOTIENT (EQ):
Interactions
of children with different plant species, animals and other components of the
nature shall enhance EQ of the children because EQ is directly proportionate to
the family size. Without increasing the number of children in a family its size
may be increased with the interaction of biodiversity components of our
environment. Henceforth, higher EQ of the children will help in creating self
awareness and self regulation. This will also help in enhancing the child’s
maturity and creating empathy leading to social harmony in the human society.
